Chümoukedima, December 12 (MExN): More than 50 dogs of varied breed participated at the dog show held as a part of Central Agricultural University (CAU) Regional Agri Fair 2023-24 on at Agri Expo, 4th Mile Chümoukedima on December 12.
Pixie, Dakshun breed owned by Imkong Yaden bagged the first best show and walked away with a cash prize of Rs 25000 and gift hampers while Valerie, an English Cocker Spaniel owned by Lolano Patton bagged the 2nd best show and received cash award of Rs 15000 and gift hampers. Cooper, Spitz breed owned by Shouka K Yepthomi was adjudged the 3rd best in show and received a cash prize of Rs10000 and gift hampers from drools.
The cash money and gift hampers for the 1st and 2nd winners were sponsored by Drools while the 3rd prize cash money was sponsored by Sky EC. Gift hampers for all the participants were sponsored by Drools, Sky EC and Pedigree.
Judges for the dog show were Dr Ithika, Practitioner and Proprietor of Wagging Tails; Dr Ekon, Practitioner and Proprietor of Veterinary Health Care Center Dimapur; Dr Vikhe Sumi, Vety Assistant Surgeon, Vety Department, GON; Dr Tukheswar, Assistant Professor, Department of Vety Gynaecology and Obstetrics, Vety College Jalukie.
