Volunteers clean venue of MDFA Trophy

As an outreach mission of the Plastic Free Mopungchuket Project of the Youth Ministry of Mopungchuket Baptist Church, 35 volunteers cleaned the venue of the MDFA Trophy 2019 tourney, Imkongmeren Sports Complex, Mokokchung on October 1.
They will be cleaning the venue and its premises on all match days of the tournament that began on October 1.
The Youth Pastor of Mopungchuket Baptist Church, L. Yanger Pongen who led the volunteers when enquired said that their objective was to “make some positive impact on the hearts of the people of Mokokchung” through this mission. “We also aim to spread the message that everyone can be a part of the movement against plastic pollution,” he added. “We also believe that a plastic free life is a much better life. The more people understand it, the better it serves the purpose of this whole campaign,” said a leader of the Mopungchuket Youth Ministry.
