Dimapur, September 24 (MExN): A new team of Pochury Students' Union (PSU) for the tenure of 2021-23 was inducted at Tourist Lodge Dimapur on September 22. The induction programme was held along with Pochury Hoho Dimapur District (PHDD).
A PSU release informed that the programme was led by Jakob Thuu, Member Secretary, Search Committee and Speaker PSU, invocation was led by Chuwasie Nyuwi, Pastor Pochury Baptist Church Dimapur.
Outgoing PSU President, Müphatho Nyuthe and President PHDD, Zhitho Nyuthe, President PHDD exhorted the newly elected leaders to work for the betterment of the society and must work together to serve the community at large, further encouraging the leaders to strive forward.
Er Chirhotho Rasutho, Convenor Search Committee presented the committee's report and also encouraged the newly elected leaders to serve with dedication and sincerity for the community and Nagas as a whole, which was followed by a dedicatory prayer from Rev. Hopejoy Sharu, Pastor Pochury Baptist Church, Chümoukedima.
Incoming President Wiedo Nyusou also delivered a short speech on behalf of the newly elected executives, which was followed by vote of thanks from Elizabeth Pojar, Member Search Committee and Women Coordinator, PSU.
Among others, the officials for the tenure of 2021-23 are President, Wiedo Nyusou; General Secretary Züdave; Secretary, Information & Public Relation, Achüpa; Women Co-Ordinator Alamsü; and Speaker Takhuchu.
