Dimapur, Feb 24 (MExN): Taking strong cognizance of certain unscrupulous and unauthorized persons encroaching into New Police Reserve, Phesama, the Police department warns that appropriate punishment would be initiated against the encroachers. Kohima’s Superintendent of Police Martin Pienyu, NPS, in a notice received here reminded that new Police Reserve Phesama has been acquired by the government and belongs to the police department. It has clear boundary but encroachment by unauthorized persons has been noticed from time to time, the department noted. The department notifies the public that any person encroaching upon the said reserve-land shall be punished under appropriate section of the law. Also, any person (s) dealing with such unscrupulous people shall be doing at their own risks, it added.
