Politicians made to see red

Kohima, June 27 (MExN): In compliance to the government notification restricting the use of unauthorized sirens, red-lights and designation plates, the Kohima North and South traffic personnel jointly conducted a drive and removed unauthorized use of such items from the several vehicles.

So far, the traffic personnel have removed around 26 designation plates, 15 flag posts and 15 red lights from vehicles belonging mostly to members of  various political parties of the state. The traffic personnel also removed the words “State of Nagaland” on the plate of several vehicles.

According to traffic personnel, they will continue to carry out the drive in keeping with the government notification.
