Dimapur, April 1 (MExN): Following the announcement of the by-elections for 26-Aonglenden Assembly Constituency under Mokokchung District, the Model Code of Conduct comes into operation with immediate effect. Returning Offier of Mokokchung Lithrongla G Chishi notified today that the code of conduct would be in force till the completion of the election process.“The political parties, intending/contesting candidates and all concerned are directed to strictly follow the above directives in letter and spirit,” she stated. The EC announced bypolls to the 26-Aonglenden seat to be polled on May 8.
