MOKOKCHUNG, OCTOBER 5 (MExN): A training programme of Poshan Abhiyaan, ECCE, PMMVY for Supervisors and Anganwadi Workers of Mokokchung District was today at Town Hall, Mokokchung.
Deputy Commissioner, Mokokchung, Sachin Jaiswal asked the Anganwadi workers to attend the training with utmost sincerity so that they could learn more and be equipped with better knowledge to render their duties more effectively.
The DC maintained that Anganwadi workers are the backbone of the department, and further encourage them to work as a team. He also asked them to come forward and share views with the department officers and the administrative officials as will, should they have any innovative ideas.
He meanwhile handed over the State Level Award for best Anganwadi worker to Merentula of Longsa Village. Additional Director, SW, Tulula Pongen delivered the key note address.
