Dimapur, October 6 (MExN): The Poumai Baptist Churches Dimapur organised its first football tournament for the married members, both men and women who were above 35 years of age, at Greenwood School, Kuda village in Dimapur on October 5.
During the one-day tournament, matches were played in three categories – men’s A group, men’s B group and women’s football – between Poumai Dimapur 5th Mile Church and Poumai Dimapur Town Church.
The Poumai Dimapur 5th Mile Church defeated the Poumai Dimapur Town Church in all the three categories to walk away with the overall championship title.
The tournament concluded with a common meal at the school campus.
