Kohima, October 22 (MExN): The Kohima Transmission Division has informed that there will be a daily shutdown of power supply to Medziphema area, Dhansiripar, Ganeshnagar area, and Peren District from October 24 to 31.
A press release from the division stated that the shutdown is necessary to facilitate the stringing of a new 220kV transmission line from Dimapur to Zhadima.
On the scheduled dates, there will be daily shutdown of power supply from 6AM-4PM, it added.
The department, while acknowledging the inconvenience caused, also requested cooperation from all.
