Power disruptions in Niuland; Mkg-Tuli transmission line

Dimapur/Mokokchung, October 27 (MExN): The Executive Engineer of Electrical Division, Chümoukedima Atoho Achumi has informed that power supply from Vihokhu Village to Niuland Town and the villages drawing power supply from Niuland would be affected from 6:00-9:00 am with effect from October 28 to November 4. The shutting down of the existing 11kV line has been necessitated due to the new 33kV line construction work between Nito Farm Sub-station to Niuland Sub-station of 2.5MVA, 33/11 kV which is under construction, he informed. 

Meanwhile, consumers under Mon, Longleng and Changtongya and Tuli area under Mokokchung have been informed that supply of power would be occasionally disrupted in the coming days. The SDO Mokokchung Transmission Division said that that jungle cutting along 66KV Mokokchung–Tuli transmission line will commence from October 29 due to which the disruption would take place till the work is completed.  Affected consumers have been requested to bear with the inconvenience.
