Dimapur, June 9 (MExN): There will be a power shutdown in Chumukedima Town, Patkai College area, areas under Chumukedima village jurisdiction and Tenyiphe on June 12, Tuesday, from 6:00 am to 10:00 am. The shutdown has been necessitated to carry out tree trimming and jungle clearance in these areas, informed a press release from Er. Kasho Chishi, Nagaland Department of Power’s Executive Engineer, Electrical Division, Chumukedima. The concerned colony and village authorities have been requested to trim/cut trees that are near the power lines in their respective localities. “This should however be done strictly within the shutdown period in order to avoid any accident.”
