The Department of Youth Resources & Sports, Nagaland in association with Nagaland Football Association (NFA) will be conducting State Level Pre-Subroto cum Junior Football Tournament from June 5 to 12 at Indira Gandhi Stadium, Kohima. The inaugural function will take place on June 5 with Nagaland’s youth resources and sports advisor S. Keoshu Yimkhiung as the guest of honour. Nagaland’s deputy chief minister TR Zeliang will be guest of honour at the closing ceremony on June 11.
All the 16 districts have confirmed their participation for the tournament. The date for arrival of boys team (U-15) is June 4 and June 7 for Girls (U-17). The winners of the State Level State Pre-Subroto cum Junior Football Tournament will represent Nagaland state at Subroto Mukerjee Cup, commencing from July 30.
