DIMAPUR, AUGUST 12 (MExN): The Department of Power, Nagaland has informed that post paid energy meters will be replaced with prepaid energy meters at all the government establishments, including offices and government quarters, and also at mobile (communication) tower sites having an installed capacity of less than 63 kVA within the jurisdiction of Dimapur Electrical Division.
A press release from the Executive Engineer, Dimapur Electrical Division, stated that the initiative was in continuation of two notifications issued by the Chief Engineer (Distribution & Revenue) earlier in June and July.
It added, “All the consumers under the above mentioned categories are requested to clear the outstanding bills and extend your full cooperation in the process of replacing the energy meters for smooth transition.”
