Pride of the Nation: Nagaland

In our 53 years of statehood there are many factors which make me proud to be a part of our Nation: Nagaland:

1.    I take pride in condition of our roads.  The condition of our roads, are such that, I find it very difficult to explain to my children the differences between the river and the roads

2.    I take pride in stating that our non existence medical colleges and engineering colleges are at par with any other institutes in India. The level of Excellency of learning and teaching is such that even after 53 years of statehood our students have to go outside for further studies and our youngsters have to demand  the Government to establish a mere Government law college.

3.    I take pride in stating that our Government Hospitals and Health centre’s are so well equipped that except for Dysentery, headaches, and common flu our people have to go outside the state for treatment.

4.    I take pride in stating that our horticultural and food grain production is able to feed the Nation: Nagaland for one whole month in a year, and for the rest eleven months we depend on other states of India.

5.    I take pride in being the only state in India to have completed 100% electrification. Proud to state that all the villages and all remote areas have been electrified with burrowed hydro power from our neighboring states ASSAM and MEGHALAYA. If at all our neighbors refused to give us their hydro power we will be in complete darkness.

6.    I take pride in stating that any official of high position in the society can be a symbol of  corruption and commit any crime  but be 100% sure that his  tribesmen and  clansmen will support him to the fullest, which encourages him to do more.

7.    I take pride in the NLPT act. Due to this act our state has become the wettest state and adulterated liquor is available in all the Pan shops, hotels and grocery shops.

8.    I take pride in stating that despite all this our people keeps whining and complaining from the comfort of their kitchen; and some are great warriors in social media but never walks when required. (excluding those who walks the talk)
