Dimapur, March 4 (MExN): Prohibitory orders imposed earlier with the view to prevent breach of law and order and ensure free and fair conduct of the 14th General Assembly Election, have been withdrawn in Dhansiripar Sub-Division. An order to this effect was issued by the Dimapur Commissioner of Police Kevithuto Sophie on Saturday. The order stated that the Commissioner “is satisfied that on conclusion of the conduct of General Assembly Election 2023, the law and order situation in Dhansiripar Sub-Division has improved and has returned to normalcy.” As such, the prohibitory order has been revoked with effect from 2:00 pm on March 4.
