Dimapur, February 27 (MExN): Project Miles of Smiles 7 Sector AR Mother & Child preventive oral health care initiative was inaugurated by Lt. Gen Rameshwar Roy, UYSM, AVSM,YSM, DGAR along with Luxmi Roy, president ARWWA in presence of Maj. Gen. Sandeep Singh ,AVSM, SM, VSM, IGAR (N),Brig H. S.Faujdar ,Commander 7 Sector AR and Raje Faujdar, President ARWWA 7 Sect AR.
A press note issued by Lt Col RP Velu, PRO, IGAR (N) stated that during the inaugural speech Capt Abhishek Mishra, Officer Commanding 7 Dental Unit Assam Rifles emphasized the different aspects of dental problems pertaining to the mother and child and aimed to cover each and every COB of 7 Sector in phased manner with motto of “treatment of dental problems at initial stage”. During the address to the troops and civilians by Lt. Gen. Rameshwar Roy, UYSM, AVSM,YSM, DGAR emphasized that “A happy soldier comes from a happy family” and there is a link between morale of families and general happiness on Jawans. He also added that the project will be extremely beneficial to the families and civilians of the 7 Sector.
