Pughoboto, November 3 (MExN): The sub-divisional planning and development board (SDPDB) Pughoboto held a meeting with the chair of SDPDB and MLA Y Vikheho Swu at the ADC office Pughoboto on November 3. The meeting reviewed the minutes of the previous meeting and highlighted about the clean Pughoboto committee. The SDO informed that the Governor of Nagaland would be attending the 4th edition of Thuwu- ni-festival, which will start on November 15 and continue for three days. The MLA informed that the festival is aimed at economic progress and will witness music, indigenous sports, etc. The MLA also informed that two awards have been instituted for highest harvest village and individual harvest. The next edition will witness other awards such as entrepreneurship and best performing award for the village chairman and VDB Secretary. A press release from APRO Pughoboto informed that two teams will be sent to visit the meat production center, Guwahati and the cleanest village in Asia, Mawlynnog, Shillong respectively in January.
