Pungro, July 31 (MExN): A coordination meeting of heads of offices, institutions and organisations under Pungro Sub-division was held on July 30 to finalise preparations and assign responsibilities for the upcoming Independence Day celebrations.
The meeting, chaired by Additional Deputy Commissioner of Pungro Hotolu Sema, was held at the Sub-Divisional Planning and Development Board Hall.
Addressing the participants, Sema said the successful observance of Independence Day was "a collective responsibility of all departments, institutions and organisations." He urged all concerned to accord the highest priority to their assigned responsibilities and work in close coordination to ensure the smooth conduct of the national event.
Following deliberations, responsibilities for the various activities connected with the celebration were distributed among the respective departments and organisations. The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks from the chair.
