Dimapur, Mar 1 (MExN): The Pungro Area VDB Association slams the “ridiculous demands” of the Kiphire GBs Association over the issue of non-payment of Pungro area VDB funds.
The association asserted that the demands of the GBs’ association to the state government “is being so-called resolved by few individuals” without the knowledge and consent of Pungro area GBs of Kiphire district. It termed as ‘vested interests’ Yangkyumong, President and TV Letsaba, General Secretary.
The association through its President Sope and General Secretary Jechimong appealed to the GBs’ Federation of Nagaland and the State Government to dissolve Kiphire GBs’ association as well as suspend its president and general secretary with immediate effect for “manipulation” and misuse of authority and defaming the highest and the age-old Naga traditional customary court of justice and for creating communal enmity hatred amongst Naga family”.
