
Dimapur, January 28 (MExN): Pranab Vidyapith Higher Secondary School (PVHSS), Dimapur Managed by Bharat Sevashram Sangha (BSS) organised its annual prize-giving ceremony 2018-19 on January 20 at Pranab Jubilee Auditorium.
A press release stated that the ceremony was graced by His Holiness Srimat Swami Viswapremanandaji Maharaj, Assistant Secretary, BSS, Head Office, Kolkata as chief guest and Swami Dheyaneshanandaji Maharaj, Chairman of the Vidyapith as guest of honour.
During the event, the school felicitated the students from nursery to class 12 for the outstanding academic performance. Teachers were also felicitated and awarded for cent percent attendance.
The school annual report was presented by the Vice-Principal, Ashok Kumar Ray. The school magazine ‘The Pranabam’ was released by the chief guest accompanied by guest of honour and other dignitories.
Various cultural programmes were performed by the students and teachers of the Vidyapith. Senior monks of the sangha also spoke during the event.
This was followed by the BSS Dimapur branch’s ‘Trishul Mahotshav’ event. On the concluding day of Sri Sri Trishul Mahotshav held on January 22, the highlight was the ‘Vedic Shanti Yajana’ for world peace. Senior monks of the Sangha addressed the people at large and delivered message on universal peace and universal brotherhood.
