Kohima, July 19 (MExN): Officials of the Phekmi Welfare Union Kohima (PWUK) on July 18 called on MLA Kuzholuzo (Azo) Nienu and felicitated him on his recent appointment as Advisor for the Department of Science and Technology, Government of Nagaland.
The PWUK delegation, led by its president Shevoduyi Venuh, congratulated Nienu and wished him success in advancing the state through the adoption of science and technology.
During the interaction, Nienu underscored the need to accord greater importance to the Science and Technology Department, saying technological advancement is driving development across the world.
He also urged PWUK members to remain devoted to God and uphold honesty as the foundation for building a healthy and prosperous society. The union also apprised the advisor of its proposal to construct a community building in Kohima.
