Kohima, January 26 (MExN): As part of its social responsibility initiatives, the Business Association of Nagas (BAN) visited the District Civil Hospital Dimapur on January 26, on the occasion of India’s Republic Day.
During the visit, Dr George Thira, Medical Superintendent of the hospital, conducted a guided tour of the premises and briefed the visiting members on the facilities and ongoing healthcare services, informed the association.
As part of the initiative, a Kent water filter was installed at the hospital for the benefit of patients, attendants and visitors.
According to a BAN, the gesture was aimed at contributing to public welfare and improving basic amenities at the hospital, in keeping with the spirit of Republic Day and the association’s commitment to social responsibility.
