RANJI TROPHY 2024-2025: Nagaland faces Goa in Plate Group Final today

CHÜMOUKEDIMA, JANUARY 22 (MExN): The Nagaland Cricket Association has officially announced the much-awaited Plate Group Finals of the 2024-2025 Ranji Trophy, where Nagaland will face off against Goa. The five-day match is set to begin on January 23 at the Nagaland Cricket Stadium in Sovima, Chümoukedima.

This historic clash marks a significant achievement for the Nagaland cricket team, who have already secured qualification to the elite group for the 2025-2026 season by reaching the finals of the prestigious Ranji Trophy Plate Group. The event is expected to attract cricket fans and sports enthusiasts from across the state, all eager to witness this exciting encounter and support their home team.

The contest will feature a high-stakes battle for the Plate Group title, with both teams vying for glory. Team Goa will be led by Head Coach Dinesh Mongia and Captain Darshan Misal with Arjun Tendulkar, Suyash Prabhudesai, KV Siddharth and Snehal Kautankar as players to watch out for while Team Nagaland will be led by Head Coach Debashish Mohanty and Captain Jonathan Rongsen. Players to watch out for are Suchith J, Nischal Dega, Chetan Bisht, Imliwati Lemtur, Sedezhalie Rupreo and Hokaito Zhimomi.
