Peren, August 16 (MExN): The netizens of Peren district are facing perennial problem of poor and disorderly network coverage as well as internet access, the Zeliang Students’ Union Nagaland (ZSUN) stated today.
The problems have been ongoing for months, adversely affecting day-to-day activities in every walk-of-life, ZSUN said a press release issued by its President Kingsalt Hegwang.
While scenario worsens when there are power outages as internet connection automatically shuts down while call drops and breaking voices are also common, it informed.
The union further maintained that during load-shedding, no calls can be made.
The poor telecom connectivity has been an enormous difficulty especially in this pandemic times where online academics, webinars, virtual meetings are the major means of educations, interactions and in carrying out certain businesses, it added.
In this regard, the ZSUN put forwarded the press release as a complaint against poor network reception and internet connectivity to service providers such as BSNL, Airtel, and Reliance Jio in Peren district.
Considering the above mentioned facts and circumstances, the ZSUN in the interest of general public requested concerned authorities to take necessary steps to rectify the matter and fix it at the earliest.
