Red Scars FC lifts 23rd NSF Martyrs’ Memorial Trophy.

Red Scars FC today lifted the coveted champion title of 23rd NSF Martyrs’ Memorial Trophy 2023. In final match played at Indira Gandhi Stadium Kohima, Red Scars FC defeated Liangmai FC 4-2 to lift the trophy.
Yhunshalo Kemp connected two goals for Red Scars FC while Hminglu and Hongreiwang Richard netted a goal each for the team.
Zumzum Punyù and Winamthiu Ringdi netted a goal each for Liangmai FC. Red Scars FC fetched a cash prize of Rs. 2.50 lakh along with citation and running trophy while runner- up Liangmai FC received Rs. 1.5 lakh.
K. Neibou Sekhose, president Nagaland Football Association graced the grand finale as the special guest and gave away prizes to the winners. Mentionably, 34 teams joined the tournament, which started on September 18 last

• Highest Scorer (Golden Boot): Yhoto Lohe (A Yhome FC) and Yhunshalo Kemp (Red Scars FC) with 9 goals each
• Player of the Tournament (Golden Ball): Winanthiu Ringdi of Liangmai FC.
