Peren, March 13 (MExN): The Referee Clinic which began on March 10, organized by Recreation Club Ahthibung (RCA) in collaboration with Department of Youth Resources and Sports (DYR&S) Nagaland, concluded on March 13.
The RCA in a press release on Saturday expressed gratitude to the DDFRA for providing support the form of providing well- experienced resource persons in the 3-day long training programme.
Due to little knowledge of the game, “many hot arguments had been experienced during tournaments in the subdivision,” the RCA acknowledged.
Though the programme was just an introduction/ imparting basics sans certification, the trainees have expressed gratitude to the RCA, and DYR&S for arranging such platform and introducing official rules and laws concerning the game of football, the release stated.
The trainees also requested the concerned department RCA to continue supporting them in order for them to render their service as trained/ certified referees.
