One killed in road accident

One person was killed while another suffered injury when a Zonal taxi bearing registration-NL01T 5873 in which they were traveling met an accident between Dimori Cove and Kisama on December 30, 2010. Source said the one Lopongni Thaprü, 45 years, of Khuzama village died on spot while other Ate suffered injury.

ESZTSU informs

All members and students under Eastern Sumi Zunheboto Town Students Union (ESZTSU) are informed to start the submission of their names for attending ESSU Golden Jubilee to the union executives, or at Patkai Studio Zunheboto or contact 9436216151 on or before January 10. Tikhir Baptist church Kiphire women silver jubilee underway

Silver jubilee of the Tikhir Baptist church women department Kiphire town start tonight under the theme ‘Faith Service Blessing’ with Rev M Shiuto Executive secretary TBBA (Tikhir Baptist Biti Athukanti) and Y. Kiulimshi Women Evangelist TBBA as main speakers.  Along with members from Kohima, Tuensang and Dimapur, 21 villages are attending the two day program.  

RBYDA youth camp from Jan 4

Dimapur, January 3 (MExN):
The Rengma Baptist Youth Dimapur is organising a youth camp for the first time coinciding with the CRBC Youth Foundation Day from January 4 to 6 at Youth Oasis Center (Eralibill) under the theme “Revive Us” with the speakers – Rev MK Lorin, Dr. Kenilo Kath and Allemsunep Jamir. The organising committee has appealed to all the youth members of RBYDA to attend the programme, informed a press note.

28TH Visa Tsunuomia Krotho Meet-cum Picnic

Dimapur, January 3 (MExN):
The Visa Tsunuomia Krotho has informed in a release that the Annual Meet-cum-Picnic will be on January 5, 10:00 am at Kisama. The highlights of the programme will be mass prayer and exhortations by elders, introductions of new members, awards & certificates for academic excellences during 2009-10 and other meritorious achievements, gift exchanges (worth ` 500 and above) from every families, games for children, which will be follow by a grant feast hosted by Sizo Kiso & family. All concerned are requested to come in time.

ATK general meeting on Jan 11

Dimapur, January 3 (MExN):
Members of five units of the Aichisaghemi Tughalomi Kuqhakulu (ATK) are informed that the general meeting is herby scheduled to be conducted on January 11  at Aichisaghemi village. A press note issued by ATK convenor, Phuhoshe Nurumi stated that all concerned units are therefore requested to send their representatives and participate in the said meeting without fail. All members attending the meeting are requested to reach the village on January 10 and report for meeting on January 11 at 8:00 am.

Table Tennis Open tourney from Jan 8
