‘Regularize W/C employees’

Dimapur, April 2 (MExN):
The All Nagaland PWD Field Workers’ Association (ANPWDFWA), Kohima has appealed for regularization of work-charged employees, who have completed 25 years of service in PWD (R&B) & Housing. In a note addressed to the principal secretary, Home and chairman of Work Charged and Casual Employees Commission issued by the association’s president Inakhu Aye and general secretary K Atovi Awomi stated: “…most of the W/C employees are sincerely dedicating their optimum services towards the department without availing any kind of opportunities such as service regularization and promotion etc.” It also stated that if the regularization is implemented by the department, “the aggrieved W/C employees could at least get relief to little extend”.

Kiphire DPDB meeting on April 5

Kohima, April 2 (MExN):
The monthly District Planning & Development (DPDB) meeting for Kiphire District was convened at the office chamber of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kiphire on April 5  by 11.00 am onwards. A press communiqué issued by District Planning Officer (DPO) S Akho Leyri, requested all the concerned members without fail.

CTC informs on eviction

Dimapur, April 2 (MExN):
The Chumukedima Town Council has informed that as per the request from the landowners for extension of grace period for the demolishment/ eviction drive, which was scheduled to be carried out from April 4, the advisory committee CTC and Goan Buras has convened an emergency meeting on April 13, 10:00 am. The meeting will be held in the CTC conference hall and the landowners, whose land has been affected are requested to make it convenient to attend the meeting without fail for consultation, informed a press note issued by the chief advisor of CTC, Thepfulhoutuo Shuya. The note also added that the land, which falls within the perimeter of 45 feet from the middle of the national highway, should be kept reserved/cleared for future development to be undertaken by the government, when need arises.

Fellowship Colony Council chairman informs

Dimapur, April 2 (MExN):
  The Fellowship Colony Council, Dimapur has informed the residents (landlords as well as tenants) of the colony to provide names of family/household members specifying age, gender and tribe. In a press note, the chairman, Dr Temsu Jamir stated that the details may be submitted to the chairman/secretary of the council on or before April 5.

TAUC informs

Dimapur, April 2 (MExN):
The Tobu Area Union Chumukedima (TAUC) would be celebrating the primeir Aoleang Festival of the Konyak on April 5 at the residence of the union’s treasurer, K Moba near Centre Workshop, Chumukedima with former minister Nyamnyei as the chief guest. A press note received here issued by the union’s general secretary AB Phaiba Konyak stated that the union has requested all the departments under Chumukedima jurisdiction to consider its members of the union on that particular day.
