Yajen Aier mourned

Dimapur, April 10 (MExN):
Brigadier (redt) S. Singnya, Kedahge of federal Government of Nagaland has mourned the demise of late Yajen Aier, father of Rev. Dr. Wati Aier, the convenor of FNR, who dies on April 8. “..he was an educationist and also the architect of the education department. His bereavement brought a great loss to the Nagas. Let his philosophical bequest be passed into his children and grandchildren. Let our Almighty God to grant strength to the bereaved family members at this hour of grief, pain and sorrow. Let his soul rest in eternal peace,” stated Singnya in condolence note  issued by ministry of “rali wali”, FGN.

SDO (Elect) Kiphire informs

Kiphire, April 10 (MExN):
This is for public information that the new 33 KV Seyouchung line passing through Sangphur, Natsar, Thazuvi, Kiyezhe, Nikiya, Sitimi town, Sitimi village and Seyouchung town, tapping from the existence 33 KV Kiphire Meluri line will be charged from April 10. As such, the public are hereby informed not to go near the mentioned line. Anybody doing so will be at his own risk. This was informed in a press note issued by Er Suralo, SDO (Elect) Kiphire.

PPVC on road widening & development

Dimapur, April 10 (MExN):
As per its resolution that was adopted last year and which was also notified to the villagers, the Padum Pukhuri Village Council has informed its villagers that road widening and development in the village will be taken up this year. A press note received here stated that as resolved by the council during its meeting last year, the main road of the village is to be made 24 feet wide while the approach roads will be 22 feet wide. In this regard, Vitoka Sumi, chairman, Padum Pukhuri Village Council has urged the villagers especially those having land by the road side to co-operate with the council by cutting down tree nearing the road and also remove structures and materials dumped near the road within one months time. He further stated that the initiative taken by the council is for the better of Padum Pukhuri village as a whole, the note said.

NNC Non Accordist allege

Dimapur, April 10 (MExN):
The NNC Non Accordist has stated that it will never ever recognize the General Secretary “Vizosiclhou V. Nagi” as its General Secretary after what it described as “his defection” and “extortion”. “If there is any group or fraction working toward the national cause or to free Naga people. Should arrest and punish such people as so that the future generation cannot be commit same mistake in future”, stated a press note received here.
