Regional party is here to stay: Kuzholuzo

Lozaphuhu, (Phek) Jan 3 (MExN): If the assertion of Minister for Agriculture Kuzholuzo (Azo) Nienu is anyting to go by, NPF touts for itself another stint in the power  seat. Azo today maintained that regional party has come to assert in the state and the party is going to create history.

“Regional party is here to stay”, he said while inaugurating the 39th session of Lozaphuhu Sports Association here today.

He asserted that the regional party is going to ‘create history’ by completing its full term and also by forming the next government too headed by Neiphiu Rio, Chief Minister of Nagaland. The minister made a fervent appeal to all to be a part of the ‘history’ by supporting DAN partners.

On development strides made by the DAN government within four years, Azo urged the general public to have “development awareness” and at the same time asked the people to not only recognize success but also  point out ‘failures’ as well.

Azo also stressed on the need to cooperate with contractors and workers on the various projects for effective execution of developmental schemes. The ministers’ assurance to take up a watershed project at Lozaphuhu village has brought about high jubilation from the villagers. Complimenting villagers for maintaining unity and peace, he urged them to keep the same spirit and show a good example to neighboring villages as well.

On sports, Azo encouraged sports lovers to exhibit their best and that they should equip themselves with sincerity, dedication and punctuality in order to excel in their respective fields.

Phek DC Sachopra Vero, Phek Town Council Chairperson Kupota Khesoh,  SDPO Phek Neikho, ex-minister Vejoi Vero, ex-MLA Chiekhutso, NPF Phek President Chivotso Nienu, NPF Phek General Secretary Wepe Mekrisuh and 19th Phek A/C NPF President Vehuta Rhakho also graced the occasion.
