The undersigned is compelled to give rejoinder to M Manuel Kamson, President NPF & A/C that appeared in local daily on 16th Sept 2012, wherein he said “Kiepeu Zeliang is not even a primary card holder of the party”. Mr. Kamson, for your kind information, I am the bonafide Advisor, NPF Unit Peren Village. It is a shame on your part that you are not even aware of your own party functionaries though you claim yourself to be the President NPF 7 Peren A/C. As a responsible leader, I would advise you not to make any ridiculous and baseless allegation against anyone including me. As far as shifting of Peren Dist. Hd Qtr is concern, I still stand by what I had stated in local daily on 14th September 2012. Remaining true to my nature, I shall continue to speak the truth.
By virtue of your verbal/writing skill, you may be able to confuse/mislead people but you cannot alter the facts and truth. Mr. Kamson, please visit the new site and personally verify whether what I stated is true or not. You also said “the D.C. complex (mini secretariat) is completed with various departments completed and the roads blacktopped” Mr. Kamson, let’s be realistic and know what the DC office says on 20th September 2012 as per D.C. office letter No. DEV/RTI/2006-07/883:
1) So far only six office buildings with only 5 to 6 rooms in each building have been completed, while DC office has 35 large and medium rooms.
2) Kohima-Lekie road junction to new Dist. H Via New Peren (10 km) is earthen road (Kamson remember you said blacktopped road)
3) Old Peren junction to New Dist. HQ Via New Peren (12 km) is earthen road and the work is still progressing. (This is the shortest route from present town to the new site which is still not pliable.
Further, realizing the genuineness of the PIL filed by the Zeliang People Organisation, the Hon’ble Guwahati High Court has given a Stay Order on 7th Sept. 2012 in regard to the proposed date of shifting on 10th Sept 2012 on the simple reason that proper infrastructural set up be first made available at the new site in the interest of the public before shifting. If basic infrastructure is ready and well-set at the new HQ site, the Hon’ble Guwahati High Court would not have given a Stay Order. (Mr. Kamson may like to comment on this).
Let every reader know who is speaking the truth and who is fooling people. I dare anyone to personally visit the site of the new district head quarter, Peren to prove contrary to what I had stated on 14th Sept. 2012 under the caption “Shifting of Peren HQ to Jungle Irrational”. Let truth prevail in our land.
