The Lotha Region N.N.C is compelled to make statement on the Press note issue by R.Yanthan claiming to be president Lotha Region N.N.C (N/A) on dated 6th September 2012.
Firstly, who is R.Yanthan ? if he really exist he should reveal his identity instead of writing XYZ. The Lotha does not know who is R.Yanthan hence the N.N.C Lotha Region strongly condemned the person (ghost) writer. The Lotha Region N.N.C also sternly warned any person/individual trying to tarnish the image of N.N.C Lotha Region in particular and the Lotha community in general. The Lotha Region N.N.C, will find out who is R.Yanthan or the ghost writer and punish him as per the law of the land.
Secondly, the Lotha Region N.N.C, unanimously elected Rabenthung Patton as president and there is no N.N.C (XYZ) for the Lotha. There is only one N.N.C born in 1964 at Wokha, and this is the Naga political institution and the foundation of Naga struggle for self determination. The Lotha have not committed a mistake in the past, present and in the future as long as our struggle for freedom in concern. The Shillong Accord was signed by an individual and not by V. Nagi nor by the Lothas. Therefore we have nothing to do with the Shillong Accord.
Therefore, the general public should note that, N.N.C does not belongs to an individual tribes, nor it belongs to V. Nagi. The Lotha Region N.N.C warned individual or group not to mislead the general public with cheap porpoganda and to malign the image of N.N.C which is the only institution mandated bby the Nagas for our freedom.
Lastly, the present Nagas should honour the sacrifice made by thousands of our forefather who laid down their precious life, and the people who are serving tirelessly for 50/60 years for the cause of our Naga freedom, instead of playing dirty politics for monetary gain.
