Kohima, April 30 (MExN): The State Home Department today urged upon the citizens to strive to work together and render all possible assistance to the frontline workers.
This would enable them enable them to carry on with their work with “renewed vigour and without any hindrances whatsoever,” stated the Principal Secretary Abhijit Sinha.
“Any kind of harassment impacting the living or working conditions of such people will only weaken us,” Sinha was quoted as saying in a state DIPR report.
Stating that large number the citizens including health workers, police, sanitation workers, etc are in the frontlines, he said that it is of utmost importance to render every kind of support and cooperation to them to “strengthen their capabilities and their resolve” in the fight against COVID-19.
