Resigned before removal, says former BJP Zbto VP

Zunheboto, November 28 (MExN): Apropos the news item dated November 27 regarding the removal of BJP Zunheboto Division Vice President, Vikaho T Zhimomi, the latter on Monday clarified that he resigned six days ago.

“I have resigned on my own will as I lost confidence under the leadership of Shikuto Sumi President BJP Zunheboto for which my letter of resignation has been addressed to State BJP President, District I/C Zunheboto, and president BJP Zunheboto six days back,” Zhimomi stated in a rejoinder.

Accusing the district president of being “autocratic”, the former vice president stated that he was disheartened “to take this extreme step”.

Further alleging that the district president is running the party office from Dimapur “without knowing the ground realities in his own division”, Zhimomi stated, “Commanding the party by being in his comfort zone at Dimapur without being in station is just a mockery of a National party like BJP.”

“I in good spirit advised him to be in station to strengthen the party, but he took it otherwise and rather tagged me as being "anti party" where he felt uncomfortable of my good advice,” Zhimomi maintained.
