Restriction in Mkg on polling day

Mokokchung, May 5 (DIPR): As a precautionary measure for public safety and the safety of business establishment as well as all types of vehicles engages in public transportation the following restrictions will be in force in Mokokchung town on polling day, the 7th May 2011.
All shops will remain closed from 5:00 A.M to 5:00 P.M and all public transportation including NST shall not ply their vehicles within Mokokchung town. However, essential commodities carriage (Tata) coming from outside the District shall be allowed upto the location indicated below:- Tata from Mariani-Khensa Gate; Tata from Amguri-Tsusapang Gate; Tata from Zunheboto-Settsu, Lumami Junction; Tata from Kohima/Wokha-Alichen; Tata from Tuensang-Below Art & Culture Complex, Junction.
The decision to this effect was taken at a co-ordination meeting chaired by Deputy Commissioner & Returning Officer, Mokokchung, Lithrongla G. Chishi on 5th May 2011. The meeting was attended among others by ADC Mokokchung, R. Asenla Keitzar, S.P Mokokchung, Liremo Lotha, RTO Mokokchung, Pukhavi sumi and representatives of Mokokchung Chamber of Commerce and Industries, Mokokchung Municipal Council and Mokokchung Taxi Union.
