Phek, April 21 (MExN): Deputy Commissioner of Phek, John Tsulise Sangtam, has issued a traffic advisory notifying the public that vehicular movement will continue to be restricted along a section of the Kohima-Jessami Road due to ongoing slope excavation work. The advisory stated that the restrictions will be maintained under Package-V of the road project, specifically between Chainage 115+600 to 115+850, a stretch located between Losatephe and Lanezho villages.
According to the directive, traffic along this portion of the highway will remain restricted from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day for an additional 13 days, beginning April 18 and continuing through April 30.
To facilitate travel during the restriction period, commuters have been advised to use the alternate route via Pfûtsero-Sakhaba-Upper Khomi-Phek-Lanezho and vice versa.
