The second United Sangtam Baptist pastor’s conference was held at Kiphire from June 7 to 9, 2013 with the theme “Listen to Spirit’s saying’ hosted by the Kiphire Town Baptist Lithro.
Rev. Liose, pastor of Kiphire Village Baptist Church was awarded with a certificate and memento for ‘Best Shepherd Award’. He is the first in the history of the Sangtam to get this award. President of United Sangtam Baptist Pastor’s Association, Dr. H. Apise, pastor, Purana Bazar Baptist Lithro read out the certificate and the history of the service rendered by Rev Liose and handed over award.
Receiving the award Rev Liose expressed gratitude for acknowledging the service rendered and pronounced his blessing to the young pastors who are in the field working for God’s Kingdom.
Pastor Thsadong, Alison, Athrongse, Setsipa and Tsalilchum were the main speakers of the three-day conference. They spoke specifically on seven different churches from the book of Revelation. Likyu, Youth Pastor, SBL Purana bazaar presented special song throughout the conference.
