Rev Temsü Jamir installed as the eighth ABAM Executive Secretary in Impur on May 9.
Mokokchung, May 10 (MExN): The installation of Rev Temsü Jamir as the eighth ABAM Executive Secretary took place in Impur on May 9. The programme was attended by two representatives from each of the Ao Baptist Churches and fellowships. ABAM President Rev Ayutemje officiated the handover of the responsibility of the Executive Secretary of ABAM to Rev Temsü Jamir.
Rev Temsü Jamir is from Chuchuyimlang village. He is married to S Amenla Lkr with two daughters. He has participated in various ministries, with his most recent role being Pastor at Aoyimti Baptist Church. His contributions to the ministries he has been involved in have been significant, and we look forward to the future opportunities that await him. Rev Temsü conveyed his gratitude for the opportunity and emphasized his reliance on God for guidance as he serves in this role.
During the installation programme, Rev K Temjen Longchar, former Pastor of Khensa Baptist Church, delivered a message based on Matthew 22:31 and the following verses. He emphasised that serving God involves demonstrating true love for all people and maintaining personal integrity, which entails fearing nothing but doing what is right.
ABAM has thanked Rev L Yapang Mollier, Secretary of Church & Mission, for taking on the role of Executive Secretary beginning in March 2025. ABAM also expressed gratitude to Aoyimti Baptist Church for releasing Rev Temsü Jamir, Pastor, to fulfill ABAM’s need despite the conventional norms surrounding the release of full-time workers in the church.
