Rihanna beats The Beatles chart record

Rihanna has edged ahead of the Beatles on the weeks at number one list in America. Her hit Work has scored a ninth week on top of the Billboard Hot 100, giving her an overall tally of 60 weeks at number one with 14 songs. That's one more than the Fab Four, giving Rihanna a sole grasp of the number two spot on the list of all-time chart-toppers.   She's now 19 weeks behind Mariah Carey, who leads the countdown with 79 weeks on top. Meanwhile, Justin Bieber has broken his own chart record with another week in the top 10. His Love Yourself, which drops to eight on the new chart, has now spent 22 weeks in the top 10 - one week more than Justin's Sorry and What Do You Mean?, Nicki Minaj's Spaceships and Maroon 5's Sugar.

Back to the top hits, and Desiigner's Panda rises to two and Lukas Graham's 7 Years drops to three, while Meghan Trainor's No and Pillowtalk by Zayn Malik round out the top five.
