Kohima, January 27 (MExN): Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio will be inaugurating the Astro turf football pitch at Indira Gandhi Stadium, Kohima on January 28 at 12:00 noon in commemoration of the 100th birth anniversary of Dr. T. Ao.
The programme will be followed by exhibition match between Chief Minister’s XI and Chief Secretary’s XI to mark the commencement of the XXth Inter District Football Championship 2019 (Dr. T. Ao Trophy), jointly organized by the department of youth resources and sports and Nagaland Football Association (NFA).
Youth resources and sports advisor Er. Zale Neikha will pronounce introductory note. Technical report will be given by Er. Nimo Kath, executive engineer YRS while word of appreciation will be given by NFA president Atuo Mezhiir Sekhose.
