DIMAPUR, APRIL 30 (MExN): In continuation of the earlier traffic advisory issued on April 14, the Dimapur Traffic Police has issued a fresh notification concerning vehicular movement along a portion of NH-36 in Dimapur.
With the completion of the section of road below the flyover along the Dimapur Railway Siding, starting from Blue Hill and the Police Assistant Booth (PAB) up to the exit point of the Flyover Y-Junction, the following traffic restriction have been put in place to ensure proper curing of the newly laid Pavement Quality Concrete (PQC) and to safeguard the structural integrity of the road. In this connection, no vehicular traffic shall be permitted along the specified road stretch until May 15.
Light Motor Vehicles (LMVs) will be allowed to ply from May 16 onwards. However, Heavy Motor Vehicles (HMVs) will be allowed only after the curing process is fully complete and as per further notification. This advisory is issued under Section 115 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988.
