Road construction not satisfactory: WSYF

Dimapur, September 25 (MExN): The Western Sumi Youth Front on Friday said that the road construction from Central Jail Junction, Dimapur to Atu Ghoki (Zubza Bridge) near Hozukhe village was ‘not satisfactory’.

Informing of the inspection conducted by it on September 17, the Front highlighted that “works are not being carried out satisfactorily.”

“This is an important road for the people of Niuland area,” the WSYF stated in its press release and appealed to the contractor to carry out the works strictly as per work order adhering to all laid down specifications. 

The Front also extended gratitude to Minister for Home, R&B, Y Patton, Minister for PHED, Jacob Zhimomi and Advisor Sericulture, Excise and Minority Affairs, Zhaleo Rio for their support towards the construction of the road.

Further, the WSYF stated that it would continue to monitor the construction of the road.
