The launching programme for the upgradation of the road from Chendang Saddle to Noklak on EPC mode (NERSDS) was held at Chendang Saddle, Tuensang on January 5.
Presenting the technical report, Er C Hendo Sumao stated that the total coverage of the Project Highway will be 27.19km with an intermediate lane approximately. However, in the first phase, the coverage will be 17km 103 meters and the rest will continue in the 2nd phase.
In short speeches, the respective village council chairman from Chendang Saddle and Thang along with President CRPO and President TRPO assured that there will be no disturbance from any organizations or individuals concerning taxation and land reimbursement.
Further, Haying Advisor, Prison, Printing and Stationery, Government of Nagaland highlighted that the smooth functioning of the road construction has been approved through NERSDS and this project can achieve success through joining venture of both the districts along with the co-operation with each other.
He also acknowledged the commitment declared by both the CRPO and TRPO and further declared that he will focus more on the quality workmanship as well as the quoted quality of the road.
