Mangkolemba, July 22 (DIPR): Longchem Administration and PWD (R&B) Department, Mangkolemba along with the public from Longchem circle, Aonokpu and Nokpu village, together organized a ‘road improvement exercise’ at Longchem-Naganijan road on July 20 and 21. The road which covers a stretch of 15 km is the main lifeline under Longchem circle. The social work was undertaken due to the worsening condition of the road with the onset of monsoon.
The initiative generated huge positive response from all quarters. Further the organizers expressed their gratitude to ADC Mangkolemba, E.E PWD(R&B), various departments under Longchem circle, the village of Aonokpu and Nokpu, general public of Longchem and all wishers for their generous contributions through financially, materially and in terms of labour.
