Kiphire, January 20 (MExN): The inaugural session of Road Safety Month Kiphire was held under the theme, “Parwaah Karenge, Surakshit Rahenge’ at DC's Conference Hall, Kiphire on January 20. EAC Kiphire, Takatemjen Pongenwho chaired the programme also administered the road safety pledge with the members.
Welcome address was delivered by Bendang Longkumer, NCS SDO (C), Kiphire while the opening remarks was pronounced by Sentiwapang, SDPO Kiphire.
The keynote address was pronounced by Longdiba L Sangtam NCS, ADC - Cum - Administrator KTC. Special Address was delivered by Superintendent of Police Kiphire, Chinese Chakhesang, NPS. This was followed by community interaction and suggestions, where Open discussion with ward representatives and community leaders was held.
The programme culminated with a vote of thanks by Zavito Ltu, EAC Kiphire.
