The Jetlagged Inc. (Nagaland) is all set to organize a youth festival titled Rock Knock Fest on March 30 at Kohima. This event has been conceptualized towards improving the lifestyles of the youth by providing them with an opportunity to get the right direction in values, career and helping them to live a more responsible life in the society.
This event has been targeted at the youth, especially the students who will be completing their final degree/matriculation examinations in the months of February and March. In the past years, we have observed that many of these students lack guidance in career options and in living a healthy positive life, and are basically clueless and unguided after their exanimations, a release received here said, adding “it is during this idle period that we plan to have this mega event where they can come and learn, besides enjoying quality music by some of the most accomplished bands.”
“We aim to provide a platform where the youth/students will benefit from our resource persons who will be deliberating on issues pertaining to values, education and positive living,” said Dr. Tolto Metha. Stating that the event is totally non-profit in nature, the organizer called upon every responsible elder of the city to be a patron in this event and support the cause through cash, kind and prayer “as this event has the sole purpose of making our city a better place to live in, with a more responsible youth population who are receptive to the positive things in life.”
Meanwhile, a press conference will be held on March 22 at the Ozone Café (Quasqui Centennial Plaza, Kohima at 1:00 PM.
