Rod Stewart is a daddy again! The rocker and his wife, Penny Lancaster Stewart, welcomed their second son together, Aiden, on Wednesday. He weighed in at 7 lbs., 12 oz. “Mother and baby are healthy and blissfully happy,” a rep told People magazine.
Aiden is the eighth child for Stewart, 66, and the couple’s second together –- their elder son, Alastair Wallace, is 5. “We were thrilled and delighted to be able to tell Alastair that he was going to be a big brother,” the Stewarts said in August.
Rod has previously admitted he can be a strict father. “I bloody well am strict,” he said. “I grew up in a house a fifth of the size of my gym. I’m soft but I’m not a pushover. When we go out for meals, all mobile phones are put in the middle of the table. I believe in tough love. I just wish one of them would get a job. It’d be nice to see another wage slip coming into the house.”
