Rohan Agarwal on mission of walk & hitchhike journey stops in Kohima

agaland Youth Resources & Sports, Advisor Er Zale Neikha today had a brief introductory session with Rohan Agarwal, a 20 years old from Nagpur, Maharashtra who is on a mission of walk & hitchhike journey from India to Omyakom, Siberia as the first ever Indian to hike from India to Siberia on foot.

Er Neikha invited the later to his residence in Kohima today after his (Rohan Agarwal) arrival from Phek.

Rohan started his journey from Maharashtra in mid 2020 at age 18 and has been hiking to all states of India imparting awareness about the usage of plastic and its hazardous effects and also giving a message of unity in diversity.

He reached Kohima today from Pfutsero where he travelled 11 districts of Nagaland in 25 days marking Nagaland state as the 25th state of his journey and plans to travel to Dimapur and Chümoukedima marking it as 13th districts of Nagaland before leaving Nagaland to Assam.

Er Neikha advised Rohan Agrawal to be open-minded and take his journey as privilege to interact with the Naga people and learn the Naga culture, habits and its society.

“I wish him safe and happy hiking ahead to Siberia,” Er Neikha said.
