Rosou represents state at Magical Threads of NE

KOHIMA, March 6 (MExN): The “Magical threads of the Northeast” organised by the fashion society Shillong in collaboration with the Directorate of Sericulture and Weaving, Government of  Meghalaya, and sponsored by the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India concluded at Mumbai with designer, Rosou Rhi representing Nagaland State.
The show was held at Meghalaya House on March 1 and 4, 2011 respectively and attended by many tourists and host of people from the NE Region.
Earlier, the Magical Threads of the Northeast was held at Shillong and Kolkata last year. It may be noted here that the Naga Designer was awarded the best designer during the event held under the theme “Super Ethos” in Shillong. According to a press release, the Nagaland Handloom and Handicraft stall was put up during that time by Ayun Aier and recognised as the best stall among the eight  states.
