KOHIMA, JANUARY 29 (MExN): The Rotary Club of Kohima on January 26, Republic Day, visited the NMA Cradle Ridge Centre for orphaned children run by the Naga Mothers Association. The club donated 200 kg rice, dal, meat, fresh vegetables, 60 kgs potatoes, sugar, milk, tea, biscuits and assortment of toys for the children. 

Two thousand litres of fresh distilled drinking water was also provided by Apelie Whuorie for the children. Rotary Club also commemorated the National Girl Child Day and gifted the young girls with assorted gifts. The Rotary Vocational Service award was also given to Vizhile Sumi, caretaker of the Centre since 2003, in recognition of her dedicated service. 

Tea and refreshment was provided by the Rotary Club Kohima for all who attended the program.
